The Des Moines Tea Party

The way I see it the political class no longer believes that they need the consent of the governed just by the mere fact they have been able to hold on to their office through corruption, they no longer believe in any constitutional limits on their power they have grown so bold as to even admit they have no constitutional authority.

The tea party movement is something I want to be a part of because it's made up of ordinary people like me who have worked hard paid our bills tried to be good patriotic responsible citizens and I think the time has come with the current state of affairs in our country as we are diving headfirst into European style socialism, I see the American people waking up studying their Constitution and American history and for the first time in my life I see a renaissance and reassertion of our founding principles my desire is for the restoration of our constitutional republic based on original intent of the framers.
