The Des Moines Tea Party

  My name is Brent and I have recently moved to Iowa. I am originally from Indiana but have lived in Ohio, Maryland, Florida and Colorado. I am related to a former Govenor of Indiana...Dr Otis Bowen...who was appointed by Ronald Reagan to be the head of the Health and Humane Services in Washington. I am considering running for political office in the near future. I am a Reagan Conservative and a Christian. I am a student of the US Constitution and continue studying the documents of our Forefathers. I am VERY CONCERNED and alarmed at the rate of deterioration of my country. I have seen the erosion of morality...and face it...GOVERNEMENT IS BASED UPON AN ABSOLUTE AND OBJECTIVE REALITY of RIGHT and WRONG....ALL LAWS ARE CONSTRUCTS and EXTENSIONS of the type of morality individuals hold to. If not...then government CANNOT and WILL NOT hold any authority over ANY INDIVIDUAL because laws would then be SUBJECTIVE; holding no authority at all! I think that governement MUST BASE its laws upon an absolute and objective morality...that of "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR". ...and by God, it's time to TAKE IT BACK!
