I am 76 years old and pretty active. I was elected State Chair of the Reform Party of Iowa in 2000 I ran for Governor in the Reform Party of Iowa's primary in 1998.(One of my planks was adopted by the Legislature in 2001). I have worked for H and R Block from 2000 to 2008 on Income Tax Returns. I worked for the State of Iowa in the Highway Commission/Department of Transportation for 36 years, rising from a Draftswman III in Road Design to a Tranportation Planner 2 in the Office of Transit. In a review of the transit system in Iowa in 1994, 4 of the top 5 of the transit systems were the regional transit program that I coordinated with. I was a panelist on IPERS at the 1966 Commonwealth Conference. I attended every IPERS study committeee from 1966 through 2005. In 1975, I was Vice-Chair of the Joint Council on IPERS (made up of 23 different organization. I was a panelist on Public Employees Collective Bargaining at Iowa City in 1967 I was President of the State of Iowa Employees Associaition from 1966 through 1974. I was a part of the Reform Party movement in the 1990. As an organization we received some funds from the state because our candidate, Ross Perot garnered ove 2 percent of hte votes cast in the 1996 election for President
