The Des Moines Tea Party

Just a bible clinging, gun toteing, country loving, freedom fighting, average American. I Do not like lables, I believe they seperate us. American is the only lable I will accept. Remember our State motto, "Our liberties we prize, our rights we will maintain".  Our Tea Parties are a sign we take the maintaining part seriously. Our voices are not heard in the Government right now, so we must shout it in the streets! I thank God that we still can peacefully. As I watch Iran, I ponder on the saying "there but though the grace of God go I" Sadly at this point I can not say "that could not happen in America". Does that scare you? It does me. Our founding fathers knew this might happen, they set up ways to get our freedoms back without bloodshed. Peaceful assembly is one of them.
