I've been a supporter of the Tea Party  for some time now - but every time a support group goes out and does something stupid like hanging billboards up referencing Obama, Stalin and Hitler - I've got to question the leadership of the movement.

Come on now - you darn well know the media is looking for every damned opportunity to pick up any and all dirt on the Tea Party and park that crap front and center on every front page media outlet available.

Just be smarter than that.

Every opportunity you give the media to jump on a story is more ammunition you give to the opposition.

Question the leadership? You would question the leadership for calling something the way it is. The true isnt pretty, is it?

What is more,  the drive bys are going to say whatever they want about the Tea Party. If they cant find something then guess what, they will make it up. I would rather the Tea Party not play nice. I would rather them be as harshly honest as possible. There is no reason to play nice, the dems and drive bys certianly are not. They are taking away our rights one at a time.

It really sickens me that our so called "leadership" bowed to the dems and drive bys. They might as well have said free speech has limits.

Nathan,

The Tea Party needs more people like this:

Adrian Murray Pt1

Adrian Murray Pt2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YMasi0pIvA

What the Tea Party doesn't need are people making school-yard comparisons between the Democrats and the most vile and despicable icons of World History.

To guarantee success in November, the Tea Party needs to make inroads on swaying the opinion of millions of Independents currently on the fence.

The Tea Party would do itself a favor with more Adrian Murray's than it would with ridiculously contrived billboards.

I agree totally.  Whatever your views, we don't need stupid signs like the one being referenced.  It was on O'Reilly last night.

Why would anyone do something so stupid when we have so much other amunition that could be used without the hitler and stalin references

..and before someone chastises me for the mistake, yes, I know the billboard references Hitler, Obama and Lenin - not Stalin.

So what, I made a mistake in my haste.  Crucify me.

I think it was a big mistake to take this billboard down.  Barack Obama is a Marxist/Leninist.  This was confirmed by many who knew him in college.  Sometimes the truth is very ugly, but it has to be told.  If you don't know who the enemy is, how do you fight them, and win.  Please read this article by Dr. Jack Wheeler.  He is a former CIA agent, and worked for Ronald Reagan.  He also thinks it was a mistake to take it down.  Barack Obama is evil, and people need to understand that, if they want to have a country left.

Last week (7/08) in This Is No Accident, Comrades, we discussed this possibility:

"Our country is faced with an impending economic catastrophe, a Second Great Depression. It is being brought about on purpose by a political party that cares only for keeping and expanding its power, and looks upon prosperity as a threat to that power.

That party is now being threatened with being thrown out of power. If that party is evil enough and fascist enough to cause an economic catastrophe, it is certainly evil and fascist enough to cause a physical catastrophe, an Ultimate October Surprise, that will frighten and enrage voters enough to preserve its power in November.

What could this be? The most likely would be another 9/11, a massively horrific terrorist attack, perhaps even nuclear."

This week (7/13), the London Financial Times interviewed a key power-broker of the Democrat Party, Robert Shapiro, Clinton's Undersecretary of Commerce and founder of the hyper-liberal Progressive Policy Institute, on Democrat prospects in November. Here's the money quote:

"The bottom line here is that Americans don't believe in President Obama's leadership. He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can't think of how he could do that."

Did you just say, OMG?

The encore story came the next day (7/14) with the headline in the New York Daily News: Top Obama officials worried U.S. terror attack by Al Shabaab may be next after Uganda bombings.

Time for TeaPartyers to start that letter and email campaign suggested in "No Accident, Comrades" - don't you think?

***

We are now light years beyond a replay of Jimmy Carter squishy incompetence. We are into something approaching Leninist evil. Perhaps you heard about the billboard the North Iowa Tea Party put up in Mason City (halfway between Des Moines and Minneapolis):

After a firestorm of lib media outrage, the Iowan TeaPartyers wimped out and had it taken down. That's how evil triumphs.

At the Freedom Fest in Vegas last week, I talked to a lot of people who were afraid - that a Republican Majority in Congress next year would wimp out just like the TeaPartyers in Iowa.

Yet again yesterday (7/15), the Dems passed - thanks to Traitor Scott Brown - another fascist monstrosity, the 2,300 page Dodd-Frank "Wall Street Reform Bill."

As the Senate was voting, John Boehner announced that he will lead an effort to repeal the bill, just as he has proposed the 112th Congress repeal ObamaCare. Does anyone really believe that Boehner - who has been in Congress for 20 years and did nothing to prevent the orgy of spending under George W. Bush - has the spine to do this?

And for what? To spend massive amounts of political energy and capital to pass repeals that Zero will simply veto?

If Boehner was serious, he would make a far different announcement: that should he be the Speaker next year, he will appoint only those Congressmen to chair the Appropriations Committees (there are 12) who pledge to defund the implementation of ObamaCare, Financial Deform, and the rest of the Zero Agenda.

TTPer Mitch Rapp of Defund & Disobey will be pleased to learn he has an ally in Mark Tapscott of the Washington Examiner. Yesterday (7/15), Tapscott explained the solution to Zero's recess appointment of socialist Donald Berwick to "the single most powerful job in the federal government for shaping health care policy in America," Administrator of Medicare & Medicaid:

"The most basic power given to the House by the Constitution (is) the power of the purse, to decide how federal money will be spent through appropriations. Presidents can appoint but the House has no obligation whatsoever to fund positions held by individuals whose views are clearly noxious to the maintenance of the constitutional morality that insures republican stability." (Emphasis added)

Folks, the Defund Strategy really is the key to restoring freedom in America. It is the way to literally zero-out Zero's fascism. Everything the federal government does has to be funded by a House appropriation - even to the salaries and all related expenses (an office, phones, computers, staff, etc.) of any appointee to a federal position.

So, Mitch, we all need to let Tapscott know that his proposal for Congress to refuse to fund Berwick's position applies to the entire corpus of Fascist Democrat legislation passed in the last 18 months - including ObamaCare, what remains of the Stimulus, Financial Deform, plus any passage of Cap-Trade, the EPA's regulation of CO2 as a pollutant, everything, the whole enchilada.

Then we need to let every other conservative pundit and pol in the country know this as well. The Pubs in the 112th don't need to repeal a darn thing. Chairing the Aps Committees, all they have to do is "Just say no." No money, no fascism. Repeal can wait until a Palin or Christie presidency.

Let's get to work.

Please also read this letter from a woman who escaped Adolf Hitler, titled, Don't Let Freedom Slip Away.  She said she feels she is witnessing history in Barack Obama.

Well, Nancy, we'll have to agree to disagree.

First, I have NO doubt that you, me and every other Tea Partier is going to make a difference in November and beyond.  What is NOT certain is how much of a change we can make - and this can be addressed by simply appealing to a larger audience of Independents who are sitting on the fence right now deciding what they are going to do.  Are they staying the course with Obama and his cronies or are they jumping on the Tea Party bandwagon?

I'm absolutely certain that demagoguery isn't the means in which to sway independents to our side.

Just like any hot war - the key to victory eventually is through the hearts and minds of those who you oppose - and in this case, its especially true for earning the support of those who haven't quite made up their mind which side they are going to vote for.

To hell with the Democrats - I couldn't care less what they think.

I do, however, respect the opinion of Independents.  Trust me, the Tea Party needs them more than they need any of our support if we are to ensure we can reclaim the House and Senate come November.  That's the goal.

Billboards like this aren't winning us any battles.

Vladimir Lenin has this to say about creating a crisis. Lenin writes, "Deepen, exacerbate existing problems, crisis, differences, and if they don't exist, create them or convincincingly claim that they exist, and then deepen, exacerbate them...and profit (politically, ideologically and even financially) the most from them in any way you can, and, in the resulting chaos, blame our enemies for the whole thing".

Who does this sound like?

Nancy,

You don't need to convince me that Obama is a socialist sympathizer.  I agree with what you're saying.

However, the point I am making is that there is a huge segment of voters our there that -ARE- offended by the name calling - and I'm not talking about die-hard Democrats because no one is convincing them otherwise.

My concern, as I have stated repeatedly, is getting support from Independents to look favorably on Tea Party candidates.  That's all.

In the end, Democrats and Republicans are mostly going to vote for "their" guy - what isn't certain is who Independents are voting for.

Take this Gallup poll for instance:

http://www.gallup.com/poll/141086/independent-voters-favor-gop-2010-election-tracking.aspx

This is where the battle is - these voters. Right now, they're mostly on our side.

Billboards, namecalling, demagoguery, smear campaigns... you don't need any of that right now. If we keep our wits and present cold hard facts and compose ourselves, we're going to take it all back.

Folks our nation has been secretly under attack for many years. Only today, many people are finally realizing that many of the so called conspiracies theories are real and a threat to our nation and its sovereignty. The current leader of our Executive branch of government is only the latest “puppet” who is furthering the agenda to form a “world government”. Below you will find the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto I ask you to read them and see if our nation is currently following any of the planks.

The Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto

First Plank: Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes. (Zoning - Model ordinances proposed by Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover widely adopted. Supreme Court ruled "zoning" to be "constitutional" in 1921. Private owners of property required to get permission from government relative to the use of their property. Federally owned lands are leased for grazing, mining, timber usages, the fees being paid into the U.S. Treasury.)

Second Plank: A heavy progressive or graduated incometax. (Corporate Tax Act of 1909. The 16th Amendment, allegedly ratified in 1913. The Revenue Act of 1913, section 2, Income Tax. These laws have been purposely misapplied against American citizens to this day.)

Third Plank: Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (Partially accomplished by enactment of various state and federal "estate tax" laws taxing the "privilege" of transfering property after death and gift before death.)

Fourth Plank: CONFISCATION OF THE PROPERTY OF  EMIGRANTS AND All REBELS. (The confiscation of property and persecution of those critical - "rebels" - of government policies and actions, frequently accomplished by prosecuting them in a courtroom drama on charges of violations of non-existing administrative or regulatory laws.)

Fifth Plank: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (The Federal Reserve Bank, 1913- -the system of privately-owned Federal Reserve banks which maintain a monopoly on the valueless debt "money" in circulation.)

Sixth Plank: Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State. (Federal Radio Commission, 1927; Federal Communications Commission, 1934; Air Commerce Act of 1926; Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938; Federal Aviation Agency, 1958; becoming part of the Department of Transportation in 1966; Federal Highway Act of 1916 (federal funds made available to States for highway construction); Interstate Highway System, 1944 (funding began 1956); Interstate Commerce Commission given authority by Congress to regulate trucking and carriers on inland waterways, 1935-40; Department of Transportation, 1966.)

Seventh Plank: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (Depart-ment of Agriculture, 1862; Agriculture Adjustment Act of 1933 -- farmers will receive government aid if and only if they relinquish control of farming activities; Tennessee Valley Authority, 1933 with the Hoover Dam completed in 1936.)

Eighth Plank: Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies especially for agriculture. (First labor unions, known as federations, appeared in 1820. National Labor Union established 1866. American Federation of Labor established 1886. Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 placed railways under federal regulation. Department of Labor, 1913. Labor-management negotiations sanctioned under Railway Labor Act of 1926. Civil Works Administration, 1933. National Labor Relations Act of 1935, stated purpose to free inter-state commerce from disruptive strikes by eliminating the cause of the strike. Works Progress Administration 1935. Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, mandated 40-hour work week and time-and-a-half for overtime, set "minimum wage" scale. Civil Rights Act of 1964, effectively the equal liability of all to labor.)

Ninth Plank: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country. (Food processing companies, with the co-operation of the Farmers Home Administration foreclosures, are buying up farms and creating "conglomerates.")

Tenth Plank: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production. (Gradual shift from private education to publicly funded began in the Northern States, early 1800's. 1887: federal money (unconstitutionally) began funding specialized education. Smith-Lever Act of 1914, vocational education; Smith-Hughes Act of 1917 and other relief acts of the 1930's. Federal school lunch program of 1935; National School Lunch Act of 1946. National Defense Education Act of 1958, a reaction to Russia's Sputnik satellite demonstration, provided grants to education's specialties. Federal school aid law passed, 1965, greatly enlarged federal role in education, "head-start" programs, textbooks, library books.

(Research source: Encyclopedia Britannica.)

Many of our political leaders over the past 100 years have been patient in slowly creating laws which will give a “centralized government” control of our nation. We have been the frog in the pot of warm water for many decades. Today we find the heat increasing as the water begins to boil. We must not become divided in our pursuit of keeping our nation free from the Federal government having dominance over the people.

We all have different opinions and the freedom we have in this nation enables us to speak them. What if the Tea Party in Mason City posted the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto on the billboard, would the billboard have gotten the national attention? Would the press have not reported the story for fear more American’s would wake up from their slumber and realize our freedoms are being taken from us?

Has our nation been overthrown and walking down the road to Communism? I believe the Ten Planks should answer the question. The actions taken by our government clearly show the best interest of the American citizens is the farthest thing from many of their minds.
