The Des Moines Tea Party

Come visit The Des Moines Tea Party at the Des Moines Gun Show this weekend!  Our table is just to the left of the entrance, on the north wall.  You can't miss us, thanks to our beautiful new full color banner overhead!  We will be there until 5 PM today (Saturday, Jan. 30) and from 9 AM to 3 PM tomorrow.

The Des Moines Gun Show is located in the 4-H Building in the southeast corner of the Iowa State Fairgrounds.  There are several hundred tables displaying a vast array of firearms, ammunition, collectibles, accessories and equipment of all sorts, training, knives, specialty foods and too many other categories to list.  There is also a cafe where you can rest your feet and enjoy a great sandwich or bowl of chili!

I recommend you stop by the tables of two gun rights organizations, Iowa Carry (www.IowaCarry.org) and the NRA.  The NRA table is located right next to The Des Moines Tea Party at the entrance.  The Iowa Carry table is next to the exit on the east wall of the building.

Also, stop by the Funk for Congress booth on the southeast wall of the hall.  Just look for the huge blue banner.  Dave is running in the 3rd Congressional District to replace Rep. Leonard Boswell.  Boswell has voted with Nancy Pelosi 98% of the time!  Dave has been involved in organizing Tea Party and related activities since last spring.  I know him to be a true patriot who will make a great citizen legislator, as the founders intended.  I suggest you take this opportunity to meet him and/or his staff.  (Dave attended the show Friday evening, but I don't know his schedule for the rest of the weekend.)

There is plenty of free parking west of the 4-H Building, so bring the whole family (there are plenty of women and children at the show) and come on out!
